A Joint Powers agreement formed the Cooperative Information Network (CIN) in 1984. CIN is a multi-type library consortium consisting of public, school, and medical libraries. Membership has varied some over the years and currently consists of 23 libraries in North Idaho and Eastern Washington. The members of CIN share a library circulation system to provide efficient services to all its patrons.
